MIT | TED Talk – Expansion Microscopy

Working once again with Ed Boyden from the McGovern Institute of Brain Research at MIT we were able to produce animation for a TED talk he gave about expansion microscopy. Ed had developed a process of expanding and labeling brain tissue using polymers that can be found in baby diapers. Our animation was used to help show the audience how the technique worked at a molecular level. The full TED talk can be viewed here: Ed Boyden: A new way to study the brain’s invisible secrets
